Description: Antique Beautiful 1880's Majolica Italia Leaves & Ferns Design PLATE + History. This plate has history on the back - it was given to a couple for their wedding gift in 1882. The history was written and added in 1974 by a daughter. Please see photos to determine if the condition is acceptable. There are some minor "chippy" paint loss marks on the interior edging of the brown center section (see photos). All in all this is an incredible example of early Majolica ware.
