Description: This is one of the American Cuckoo Clock Company’s inlayed, railway cuckoos. Cosmetically the clock is in nice condition and retains only a few losses. The loss that I see is to the leaf at the peak of the pediment. There are also several glue joints and one of the drop finials might have to be reglued. This one seems to have been restored at some point. I hung the clock just to see if would tick and cuckoo and it did, but it’s largely untested and being sold as found. The finish is very nice and the bellow tops look to have been freshened up at some point. There is a good readable label on the back door and the weights and pendulum are early and likely original. The hands will be removed for shipping. This is a nice original clock made in Philadelphia around the turn of the century, and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
