From Lancaster PA, amish auction, is thewood turned dough bowl with rope tied through hole to hang. Measures approx 14" x 14.75" x 4.5" high. This is an especially nice size and would look fantastic on a country americana table filled with fruit, breads, etc. The stain is fantastic with beautiful coloring and excellent vintage condition. Bottom of bowl has handwritten 3.00. I examined the bowl and I see no markings that appear to be old worm bores. Please know there are cracks and some pitting but nothing that I would identify as worm bores. Please also know that we are not experts in this area and its possible you could have a different evaluation but I'm pretty confident that these markings are not worm bores.
