Description: Early American Woolen Co. blanket. I’m not an expert in dating textiles but I’d guess very early 20th century, possibly older. Has rams head logo on tag. Belonged to a big time antique collector who had been collecting avidly since the 1940’s. It was displayed in a guest bedroom on the bed. It comes with a book on the history of the company. The home was in Andover, MA not far from some of the companies mills. Condition is pretty good for its age. You’ll see some issues obviously but judges for yourself. It’s 68”x68” square.
