Best of the best quality, bar none, made in the first half of 20th century. It is made of fine rich deep mahogany, with beautiful shining finish. Vanity / desk style, it features one drawer in the center, and on the kidney shaped top it features a pair of removable copper inserts for plants. This is the quality that only "Schmieg & Kotzian Inc." furniture makers could deliver. This fine example focuses on symmetry and balance, directoire regency style. Drawer is quality dovetailed, and inside is the maker's silver metal label "Schmieg & Kotzian Inc New York". Table is in overall good condition, shows light age / use wear (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere, 41" wide, 17" deep, and it is 30.25" in height, while the planter inserts are 14" x 9" oval, and 5.5" deep. This baby will look gorgeous in any setting, traditional or vintage mid-century modern!
