Description: For sale is an antique, handpainted and lidded porcelain sauce dish, bowl or tureen. It was made by A. K. Limoges France ( A. Klingenberg ) in a period of between 1880 and 1910 (patented 1884). It has a white glossy finish as its base color, with handpainted flowers and leaves in pink, purple and green. There is a limited amount of gold gilt used only on its handles, of which there are three, mostly as a protective feature. This item has two pieces. It has an attached underplate along with a detached lid. This is a very nice piece for either show or for use. It is pretty much flawless; no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. Washing and cleaning should be by hand as it is somewhat delicate and also subject to crazing under extreme heat. It is approximately 9 inches long, 5 inches wide and 6 inches tall. It is a beautiful piece. If you have any questions, please contact Seller.
