Description: Antique Victorian or late Aesthetic period 14K solid gold rolo link style choker necklace with enameled 14k seed pearl mounted pendant. The necklace measures just over 16" long x 3/16" wide. The enameled seed pearl pendant is 7/8" x 1/2" and the combined weight of necklace and pendant is 30.6 grams. The fastener is stamped Patent 1871, Dec 2. The necklace is unmarked as to gold content but has been professionally tested using jeweler's acid and is fully guaranteed to be 14K in content. Ebay authenticicators using more sophisticated electronic testing may find the content to be a little less than 14k or may not. At the time of manufacture for this bracelet, karat levels were less exacting than they are today. Please enlarge all pics for best details.
