The violin is the work of an experienced maker. Inside is original label Joh. Bapt. Schweitzer fecit at forman, Hieronym Amati Pestini 1813. The back side is made of one piece quality flamed old maple. The ribs and head are of the same selected wood, and the top is made of quality medium grained spruce I am including a hard case to protect it for shipping. The exterior of the case is not in good condition. This violin in the hard case will be well packaged inside a box. G14 Restocking fee.
