Description: This is a darling vintage 1930's D.F.B. Co Carmen gold filled child's expansion bracelet in the original box. This is a rare one being it has a pink enamel rose on a blue guilloche background. Most of these Carmen bracelets are solid gold filled or possibly have a rhinestone but you rarely see them with the guilloche enamel. The bracelet is small. When it is not expanded it has a diameter of 1 5/8 inches across. These bracelets do stretch but you don't want to stretch them too much or they will get stretched out. Overall the bracelet is in good condition. No damage or wear to the enamel. The bracelet portion does have some wear to the gold fill plating on some of the edges. Not too bad though considering the bracelet is almost 100 years old. No one would even notice the wear unless you scrutinize the bracelet very closely. The inside of the bracelet is marked D.F.B. & Co Carmen. The bracelet comes in its original art deco presentation box which is in good condition as well.
