Description: Found in my grandmother's things (she was born in 1891 in Texas) is this 1923 calendar advertising the Pomona Sanitary Laundry and Dry Cleaners, in Pomona, CA. My grandmother and her family moved to Pomona in about 1921. The calendar is made of cardstock. On the front is attached the illustration "A Moonlight Symphony" by the famous artist of the era by Adelaide Hiebel (1886-1968). On the bottom is stapled the 1923 calendar. Size: 7" x 15.25" The condition is poor. for its age. The top two corners are missing, as is the bottom of the cardstock. there are some folds and small tears. Not much of the calendar is left - just the pages for Aug-December are left, and they are missing much of their bottom edges. Some mild staining on back. There is one factory holes punched at the top, but it is also torn a bit. - please see photos for all condition issues. Sorry, no sales outside the US.
