Description: DATING TO THE 1920’S FASHIONED OF WOOD WITH THE CUBES IN A BEAUTIFUL WOOD BOX THAT HAS A GRAPHIC TOP LID. THE BLOCKS CAN BE TURNED TO COMPLETE THE PUZZLES, SIX IN ALL. THERE ARE FIVE CARDS WITH THE SIXTH BEING THE LID. CONDITION: SOMEONE LACQURED THE PAPER CARDS AS SOME SHOW SMALL TEARS, FOLDS, AND FRAYS WITH THREE HAVING ABSENT CORNERS AND ONE THAT WAS HEAVILY TORN BUT FULLY PUT BACK TOGETHER. THE REAR OF THE CARDS SHOW HEAVY USE AND TAPE REPAIR. THE BLOCKS THEMSELVES HAVE TYPICAL WEAR ALONG THE EDGES, NOTE THE IMAGE. THE BOX IS MISSING THE SMALL BALL CLOSURE AT THE CLASP AND THE LID IS HEAVILY AGED COLORED WITH SOME SMALL PENCIL MARKS. A WONDERFUL EARLY CHILD’S PUZZLE.
