This magazine of California and the southwest was published in Los Angeles and edited by Chas. F. Lummis. Published in August of 1900 as Vol XIII No.3 by the Land of Sunshine publishing Co. Given its age the front and back soft covers are in excellent condition with only minor wear (a small (ca 3/8”) circular damaged area on the front cover and a single (intact) ca 1/4” tear on the back cover. The interior pages are in excellent condition with no aging/fading. Text/photos are sharp and clear. Contains various articles including: Where the Date Palm Grows, In the Golden Sierra of Mexico, California in 1849, and Our National Playground. (See table of contents photo for other articles).
