Description: Antique 1893 Chicago World's Fair Salt Glaze Stoneware Souvenir Mug Utica Here is a very attractive and very scarce antique 1893 Chicago World's Fair salt glaze stoneware souvenir mug by Utica. It measures about 4 3/4" tall and about 2 7/8" diameter at the mouth. It is in very good condition overall. There are three tight hairlines originating at the top edge. One extends about 2 1/2" into the side, another about 1 5/8", the third (very faint) about 1/2". . There are no other chips or cracks. There is a pit near the "R" in "FAIR", done in the making. There is an area of darkening near top of handle, possibly in the making. There are a few other minimal scattered surface marks. The interior is clean. Looks great overall. Please see photos.
