Description: This antique chandelier is patented Aug 16, 1885. It features a large beautiful red cranberry opalescent hobnail shade. The chandelier is an original piece by Miller and is made of bronze, glass, and crystal prisms. With its intricate design and antique style, this hanging oil lamp embodies elegance and craftsmanship from the late 19th century. This oil lamp has been converted to electric. I purchased it about 3 years ago and it was installed and working at the time. I have not installed it since purchase. Excellent condition, this is an antique item and there will be some minor wear here and there. There are a few welds on the inside where there are connections (pictured). Some of the crystals have nicks, 3-4 crystals are missing. Total length is approx 45". Diameter of glass shade is approx. 14". diameter of ceiling fixture is approx. 6.75". The prisms are about 3 3/4" each.
