Description: For sale is a beautiful Antique 14K solid Yellow Gold Waltham brand Hunter Case pocket watch circa 1916. The 10 size watch has a 17 Jewel mechanical movement. The serial number is 21940244 which puts the manufacture date at 1916.The movement is printed "A.W.W. Co. Waltham, Mass.", "17 Jewels", and "21940244".The movement is stem set. It runs and keeps time. Please note that while the watch is currently running we can make no warranty about how long or how well it will continue to do so. The case is in relatively good shape. There are several dents in the case covers (please see photos). Its outside diameter measures 46.2mm. The covers close tightly.The case is solid 14K yellow gold.The front cover features a floral design with an engrave-able area that has not been engraved.The back cover features a similar floral design. It has a sunken white porcelain dial with black Arabic numbers. It's signed "Waltham U.S.A.".The gross weight of case and movement is 64.8 grams.The net gold weight of the case is in the neighborhood of 22 grams.
