I tried these yesterday and fell in love with them. They are midweight ( not for sub zero weather ), but great for most cold weather, even your normal winter ( and I live in the northeast ). I was very surprised at how soft theses are without being “puffy”. You can wear theses with your regular shoes or boots without being snug in your normal shoes. They are not tight on your feet. I use diabetic socks sometimes and they feel very similar except for the calf band, which is still not very tight but tight enough to keep them up. The surprising part for me was the comfort, they feel great without no shoes on but when you put shoes on you can really feel how comfortable they are. Just about the first sock I have had that the meaning “ Shock Absorption “ has some meaning. They actually cushion your feet without the tight feeling you get with other cold weather socks. My feet are cold most of the time ( even in the summer ), two days so far in these socks and The cold feet have gone away. Not sure if it’s the socks or in the head but I’ll take it.
