Description: I have been very apprehensive to list these plants, even though the coloration is by far one of the most magnificent colors I have ever seen on an Anthurium. This particular variety has a tendency to produce so many leaves and flowers that the plant gets top heavy and flops around in its pot. It needs to be staked. It is such a beautiful flower and can produce a remarkable show of blooms, but you will need to stake this plant eventually. It does not get leggy, just very top heavy. Fertilizer regularly with a general purpose, soluble house plant food. Anthurium do best in a north or east window or under bright, indirect light. The plant you will receive is growing in a 6 inch pot, weighing on average 4lbs (Yes, our plants are big, husky and heavy) and is well established. We only ship plants in bloom. Our plants are not small with 99% of them requiring a box at least 24" tall to ship the plants safely, and the sample picture represents the smallest plant we have on offer.
