Description: This cam was installed new by a Harley Mechanic from markleville CA. The motor was never started and never ran after it was installed. Come to find out this guy stacked 2 head gaskets on the rear cylinder and used jb weld on the cases because the cases were not flush/flat. He charged me an outrageous amount for his incompetent work. The motor was then disassembled and I just bought a different motor. I’m just trying to recoup some of the money to fund having to tear apart his work. Not to mention he claims he doesn’t know me and never worked on my bike. He’s a well known mechanic and should be ashamed to have done this to a fellow brother. That’s the story, sadly. There is no wear on the gears whatsoever. The cam lobes are in great condition. There is only faint lines on the lobes from the motor being kicked over a handful of times.
