First edition. an etched portrait in black with tinted ornamental frame borders by James Girtin (1775-1802). Considered Girtin's most important book work, published after his death. The etchings were done from original portaits. NOTE: Many of these same prints are in the Smithsonian collection. In additions, many museums sell reproductions of these etchings for $50+.
