Description: Very unusual ancient pottery item which I think is likely a libation cup due to its size and decoration. The spout is blocked with remnants of burnt charcoaled wick, clearly showing this at some point has been used as a large oil lamp. Interesting item either way. The exterior decorated in a number of applied typical Syro Hittite votive figures. The clay heavy with inclusions. 3rd to 2nd millennium B.C.E. 15cm length 8cm high A number of cracks and repairs. Chipping and missing pieces (spout). Please look over the photos carefully.
