They were made in the USA by Anchor Hocking.I keep at least 5 of these in my kitchen at all times! They are extremely useful to me, I cook a lot (especially in a pandemic when I am home more!). I am constantly using recipes that I cook in multiples. If your recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of something and you are making a batch of 4 or 5 times the standard recipe. Do you really want to Count out 10 tablespoons, measuring in spoons?Recall the formula that says 10 tbsp = 5 ounces? (with this cup, 10 TBS is one of the graduations on the cup, use this tool and avoid brain strain!)Risk making a mistake and hope that it really didn’t matter all that much, even if it is your first time cooking for your spouse’s new bossDo you???? Me neither! One of the things about this cup that makes it soooooo awesome is that it is graduated (no, its not an advanced degree <(•¿•)>). It has four separate columns½ ounces – Every half ounce is marked up to 5 ozTeaspoons – Every tsp is marked from 3 tsp to 15 tspTablespoons – Every Tbs is marked from 1 Tbs to 10 TbsMilliliters – mls are graduated at 15 ml, 20 ml, 30 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, 60 ml, 70 ml, 80 ml, 90 ml, 100 ml, 110 ml, 120 ml, 130 ml, 140 ml and 150 mlSince not all recipes are available on web pages that do conversions, I have a lot of customers who are in areas where the metric system is used, but they might be making recipes that were written in the English system. If they use the Anchor Hocking Cup, they do not have as much brain strain! Likewise, I have customers (like a colleague of mine who is a pianist from Brazil who is teaching at a college here in Atlanta), making recipes from Brazil or even Portugal, here in the states where we use the English system. It is also an awesome shot glass! And it is very useful for making large quantities of adult beverages and punch bowls. •••••••••• All of the VINTAGE Measuring Cups are sold at this itme. It is doubtful there will be any more, however, if I do locate some, I will add them to this offer. ••••••••••You Choose!It is all your choice! Excepts for the graphics (the logo and anchor icon), the 5 ounce cups are the same. The original cup (Vintage) is the cup that Anchor Hocking sold for years and years. These are all NOS (New, Old Stock), as Anchor Hocking no longer sells the cups with this design. Most of the 1,119 (see above) that I sold are this version. These are difficult to find. I had some folks email me that they would gladly spend $10 on these cups, because they match what they already have. Eventually, I found some brand new cups with this design, so I bought them. They were more expensive, so I pass that on to those who want the original design. The New Standard Cup is identical in every way, except for the silk-screening (printing) on the logo portion of the cups. Even the UPC Code is the same. All of the graduation marks are identical on both cups.
