Description: Description : A charming and good quality antique porcelain figural group with finely modelled detail of grape pickers with a goat. Symbolic of Autumn, probably one of 4 made to depict the seasons. I have another group listed depicting winter. It has the Sitzendorf Germany mark to the base from the late 19th C. It is glazed in white with gilded highlights. The faces, hair and hands have been hand painted nicely. It measures 5.4" or 13.8 cm wide and 6.6" or 16.7 cm high. Weighs 725 g.Please see my other porcelain listings. Items can be packed together to save on postage.Condition : There is a chip to his hat and the tip of one of the goat's horns as pictured. A bunch of grapes is missing from her left hand and the tip of the vine to her right hand. Otherwise no further chips cracks or repairs. Some wear to the gilded highlights.
