American Optical Safety Glasses Deadstock NOS Steampunk Blue Welder Shield VTG

Description: These are Deadstock NOS American Optical safety glasses with the blue flip up / down welding shields attached. These were custom ordered for Stelco Steel in the 70s. These are the remainder of them from a closed Optometrist shop. Please note: the condition of the boxes will vary from the photos due to large quantity I am offering but they are all very similar. Some creases and discolouration but no water damage or smoke. They are all NOS. The rubber arms may have a small dent in the side from being folded up and resting on the metal frame for so many years. This will come out over time as they sit unfolded or with a little bit of heat added. Please see photos. This is not visible when worn but did want to point it out. You can take off the welder shield with a small flat screwdriver. Nose piece of the frame is marked AO. The mesh is marked 8/0.
