Description: American Forests and Forest Life (V. 35, #2, February 1929, The American Forestry Association) - This 60+ page magazine, which measures approx. 8 3/4" x 12", contains articles and black and white photos of our American Forests dating back almost 100 years ago. The issue is in good, not perfect, condition. The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and all pages, which are off-white, are attached. The front cover has an approx. 1/4" bindery tear at the top left-hand corner, there is writing in pencil "N-09-509"at the top edge, the top right-hand corner has an approx. 1" crease, the bottom left-hand corner binding has an approx. 3" tear, there is an approx. 3/4" crease and 1/8" tear at the bottom left-hand edge; there is a crease (subscription?) from the top to bottom center (but no mailing label) which extends through the entire magazine; there is a slight musty scent; the back cover has what appears to be printer's ink at the top edge, the right-hand side has a blemish near the trees and an approx. 1/2" piece missing (the hole) near "into", the bottom left-hand corner has an approx. 1/4" crease, the bottom right-hand corner has the tear (mentioned for the front side); the bottom edge is rippled.
