Partly-printed D.S., 1p. 8.25 x 3.75 in., Washington, D.C., April 10, 1920, a promissory note in which Byrd promises to pay the amount of $3,000 to H.D. Flood in four months' time. Three vertical folds, and a few minor holes at the top left, else fine. This lot includes three T.L.S.s written by Byrd's brother, Henry F. Byrd to the wife of Richard, Marie Byrd. All T.L.S.s are 1p. 4to., Winchester, Virginia, and between April and May of 1924, regarding money Richard owes and setting a time for the family to get together.The letters bear some trivial tears along the mailing folds and light spotting, else very good.
