In this package is a great shot of the Bell X-1 and the Lockeed YF-22 Raptor in flight. The reverse of that color photo (on cardstock) has information about the October 14, 1007 event. The coolest thing in this package (in my opinion) is the sheet of 20 cancelled stamps of the Bell X-1. Back in the day when a 32 cent stamp could mail a letter! There is also a postcard sized commemoration of the event, and a postcard size copy of High Flight by John Gillespie Magee, Jr. A fun, historic batch of stuf!!
