A lovely fall/early winter scene in Chicago's Edgebrook Woods, now a forested preserve featuring hiking trails for birding and nature observation by this Oak Park/Chicago artist about whom little is known but whose paintings surface occasionally. The painting is in very good condition with no apparent defects (other than it could use a light cleaning) and is housed in an old wood frame (that may be original to the work) that has a few cracks and abrasions but is in otherwise is good condition.
