Alice Cooper - Warner Brothers promotional photo production negative

Description: This is an 8x10 inch black & white photographic negative that was used by record companies, booking agents, public relation firms, etc to produce 8x10 black & white promotional/publicity photos. The negative is the size of the print and a special photographic printing process was used to print in large quantities. The equipment used for printing from these large negatives no longer exists. These negatives generally consisted of two pieces - a negative for the image and graphic art film that contained the acts name, logo, etc. The pieces were held together with red amberlith masking tape. Negatives were then mounted to a glass plate and exposed using a specialized darkroom printed that has been obsolete for about 20 years. This is considered a collectors item being sold from one collector to another. No rights are given or implied. After I shot a picture of the negative for this ad on a light table, I was able to reverse the image through the magic of photoshop. The black & white image shows what the negative would have printed. Any odd cut lines, etc would not appear if this was a photographic print. The spacing would have been taped off on the glass plate when using the old printing technique. You are just buying a negative, no print is included. Sold “As is.” Shipping and handling is $6.00.
