Frame measures 4 x 4 inches and is a light weight plastic. Blotter art measures about 2.3 inches x 2.3 inches and is adhered to white backing. Frame can be hung on the wall or use the kickstand to set on a desk or shelf. I send these out in the default position to be hung on the wall. If you would like to use the paddle you can let me know in a message before I ship that you would like it to be oriented that way or you can flip the image yourself. Follow directions below. Instructions for Using Easel Back: 1. Firmly grasp frame (glass side down) with both thumbs positioned on the corner. Be careful to hold the glass over a soft surface. 2. Apply gentle, even pressure to push the frame sides outward and down while at the same time pressing the backing board to unseal glass. 3. Repeat the procedure for each corner until the glass is free from the frame. 4. Once glass is removed, rotate photo to your desired orientation 5. Position frame face up and replace glass and apply gentle pressure on each corner of front of glass until glass seats itself within frame. Contact me if you have any issues or questions. The term Blotter art refers to the perforated artwork that liquid LSD is traditionally dropped onto. The artwork can then be torn apart and distributed on the small squares or “hits” of acid. Small symbolic pictures were added to the paper to provide clues as to the origin of the LSD that paper contained. The symbolic pictures became creative and amazing designs. Many designs have never been used to actually distribute LSD. Since then, the legal hobby of collecting unused, not dosed, blotter art has flourished and the art has grown even more intricate.
