Description: This uncirculated 2,000 Algerian dinar note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Bank of Algeria to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the Algerian revolution. It is a gray, purple, and green note that is dated 05 July 2020, bears the signatures of Rosthom Fadhli and Salah Eddine Taleb, and measures 150 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side honors the six leaders of the FLN, the “Heroes of the Revolution” in the War of Independence: Rabah Bitat, Mostefa Ben Boulaid, Didouche Mourad, Mohammed Boudiaf, Krim Belkacem, and Larbi Ben M’Hidi. Its reverse side depicts the Foggara (underground water conduit) of Beni Fought (Adrar) and the Medracen (Royal Numidian mausoleum) near Batna. Security features include a windowed holographic security thread with a demetalized 2000 and a watermark of Emir Abdelkader with an electrotype 2000.
