Description: Albumen Photographs Album 1897, 51 prints, 10 photos of California 12 inches wide by 9.5 inches tall, ¾ inches thick. The album has 25 sheets of paper.Photographs have been mounted with glue at the corners on to the album pages. Inscribed: E. M. McConnell, Vevey, Suisse, Mars 1898 There are approximately 52 large (approx 7.5x1in) albumin prints, There are two offset prints, 10 prints 5x8 are from California.I don’t know if the California prints are albumen. This album is age-tanned and there are some tears in the edges of the pages.Two pages are detached. I assume the album pages are acid based paper.The spine of the book is frayed and has a piece missing. The photographs have been attached to the pages with glue at the four corners of the prints. Prints are in good to very good condition. There are some that have small tears.Album is being sold “as is”. Large prints measure 7 ½ by 11. There are approximately 25Small prints measure 8 by 5 inches, There are 27 Subjet:s – I have attempted to count and to describe to the best of my ability.
