Description: A very nice copy of Albert Camus' "The Plague" 1949 Second Impression published by Hamish Hamilton. The book is very good with slight bumps on the corners but exceptionally clean and writing free. The Dust Jacket art is fantastic. Hamish Hamilton chose much better artists than the American publisher of Knopf. The Jacket is unclipped but has a sellers new price sticker over the original price. Slight soiling on rear panel lower right and damage to top of spine. Fantastic condition all round. The book comes with the original sales receipt from B. H.
