Description: This is a genuine, unnamed as issued, group of medals issued to RAF fliers. These were attributed to Pilot Officer Peter Harold Santley-Dilley, an observer/navigator in Lancaster's, or so I am led to believe. 1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, Atlantic Clasp, Africa Star, Italy Star, Defence & War Medal. This group comes with a contemporary set of miniatures on wearing pin. Close ups of Air Crew Star shown. The medals photographed are the ones you will receive. Records show that P H Santley-Dilley, (106533), was dismissed by court martial 14th April 1942, why I don't know. All new ribbons and Atlantic clasp on main group. See my others.
