Description: PORTRAIT OF A WOMAN, FACING LEFT IMPRESSIONIST LITHOGRAPH after a drawing by EDOUARD MANET (1832-1883) According to the Gallica site (see my screenshot ), Manet made the original drawing in the period 1875-1878, using graphite, crayon and black ink. This lithographic impression was published in 1910, printed by the Pan Presse of Paul Cassirer in Berlin, and published in the first German edition of Duret, Theodore, "Edouard Manet: his life and art", also by Cassirer, also in 1910. Manet's EM initials are to be seen at bottom right. Blank to reverse. CONDITION/TECHNICAL : Excellent with nice gradations of black and grey. Printed on fine art paper by the Pan-Presse of Cassirer (who was also the owner of the high-end avant-garde art journal "Pan").
