The length of our adjustable rear track bar is easily adjusted while mounted on your Jeep® JK using the integral 4140 chrome moly double adjuster to perfectly center the rear axle housing beneath the vehicle. Simply loosen the two jam nuts, turn the adjuster's center hex until you reach the length you need and then tighten down the jam nuts, it's that simple. Our adjustable rear track bar is compatible with virtually any suspension system, from bone stock to 6" or more of lift, and allows for easy adjustment changes as your vehicle modifications require. The ends of our adjustable rear track bar feature fluted and greasable polyurethane bushings on the chassis end and a high strength forged 4130 chrome moly Del-Sphere™ pivot joint on the rear axle end. These were chosen to provide maximum off-road performance and articulation while minimizing the transfer of road noise and vibrations on the street. Manufactured from 100% TIG welded high strength 1.25" 4130N chrome moly tubing, our adjustable rear track bar is precison formed to ensure proper geometry and optimum clearance of most aftermarket differential covers. A brilliant and durable powder coated finish in your choice of bright red or gloss black provides excellent protection from corrosion, rocks and debris. Why do lifted Jeep® JK Wranglers need an adjustable rear track bar? The rear track bar controls the lateral (side to side) positioning of the rear axle housing. It is attached to the chassis on the passenger's side and to the rear axle housing on the driver's side. When you lift your Jeep® JK Wrangler it changes the distance between the mounting points and moves the rear axle housing out of alignment (pushed off to one side). The fixed length of the factory rear track bar won't allow for length adjustments to re-center the rear axle housing. Unless corrected, this misalignment will place stress on suspension and driveline components, create alignment problems, and prevent proper suspension operation. Del-Sphere™ Pivot Joint: Think of the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint as a Delrin® bushed spherical rod end. The Delrin® bushing cups absorb shock and road noise so you get the quiet and smooth ride of a bushing as well as 22° of rotation! Designed and manufactured exclusively by Spohn Performance, we have taken suspension performance to the next level. Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint features a one piece forged and heat treated 4130 chrome moly housing, a heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly spherical ball, Delrin® bushing cups, heat treated retainer washers and snap ring, an external grease fitting, and a beautiful silver zinc plated housing finish. We doubt you'll ever need to replace the Delrin® bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a spherical rod end, the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is 100% rebuildable. Chassis end mounts with fluted polyurethane bushings with a grease fitting for easy lubrication and a smooth and quiet ride. The bushing end is reinforced with a CNC laser cut 3/16" steel gusset for maximum strength and durability. Rear axle housing end mounts with a high strength forged 4130 chrome moly Del-Sphere™ pivot joint that provides for 22° of unrestricted articulation. The Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is designed for narrow track bar mounts so the housing will not contact the mount at full rotation. Designed to mount directly to the factory rear track bar mounts or to any aftermarket rear axle housing and/or rear chassis mounted rear track bar relocation brackets.
