Description: Sterling silver Pepperette or pepper shaker by Adie Bros Ltd of Birmingham England.Original cobalt glass liner.Apparently a part of a cruet set which included an open salt and a mustard pot.Date code of capital Y for 1948, with expected anchor and lion passant marks. Lid is marked with lion and date mark. Maker’s mark was registered in 1922.Height 1-7/8 inches.Has an additional mark which I can’t identify. Perhaps [something] 925 HI Very nice vintage condition with slight wrinkling to the underside rim. Excellent on display.Has been polished with Wright’s.Will be carefully packaged and sent Ground Advantage USPS. HD00008
