Here we have a, risque, black and white, silver halide photo of actress Carmen Miranda as she dances with Cesar Romero when they teamed together for "Week-End in Havana" in 1941. Miranda wore no undergarments, and this photograph became legendary. There are so many stories concerning the image that it's impossible to know the actual circumstances. One is that it was an accidental shot from rehearsals for the film, while another is told that the photographer was laying on the floor while the pair were dancing at Ciro's. Good quality, early generation, prints are now hard to find and ours is reproduced from one of the best that we've ran across in years. This has slightly wider borders at the sides as shown.
