Description: Up for sale is a used pair of Acoustic Research AR3a speakers with original alnico woofers. The speakers have been fully refurbished, new grill cloth, new capacitors, new potentiometers(L-pads), new sealant applied to woofer surround, and replaced rock wool with new speaker stuffing. All parts where sourced from Vintage-AR's ebay store. The cabinets are in great condition overall, the bottoms do have some old paint that stuck to the cabinets from the shelves they sat on for nearly their entire life(see photos). It is hard to find a pair in this condition. The speakers sound great and are in fully working condition. Due to the size and weight of the speakers and condition, I will only be able to offer local pickup. I'm located 1 hour south of Syracuse NY and 1 Hour north of Binghamton NY.
