Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. This is an Epiphone Texan FT-79. The pickups and controls have been removed, but the piezo element remains under the saddle to balance things out. The endpin jack marks and the strap pin marks at the base of the neck have been filled in, and the paint has been peeled off and then painted and over-lacquered with clear. The pickguard is milky white and screwed in to imitate the specifications of the 1960s. There is no e-mark sticker. The e-print on the rod cover has peeled off. The string height is about 2 to 3 mm (.07 to .11 inch) at the 12th fret. The truss rod can be moved left and right. It looks that the string height could be lowered by adjusting the height of the saddle, but it didn't touch it to avoid buzzing. Probably the neck looks straight. About 70% of the frets remain. It has a much more vintage-like specification than a regular Texan. Probably, it looks cooler with a simple magnetic pickup like those from Bill Lawrence, rather than a clumsy acoustic guitar pickup.
