Description: This beautiful abstract piece is a bespoke hand welded installation created from a twisted piece of flat steel bar, a few pieces of bar stock, sat atop a steel block and built in my home shop. Plenty of thought, twisting, shaping, and massaging went into this project. Once welded structurally sound and freshly glass beaded, I purposefully added a mixture of chemicals to rust the twisted piece of flat steel. The stark contrast between ripe orange rust and fresh metallic silver really pop. Would be a perfect addition to any room, sure to spark conversation and curiosity.
