Description: To begin with...... I am NO rug expert. I know just a little. What I know about this rug.... It is all wool, no cotton warp. There are two weft threads woven under/ over to each single warp thread. Appears to be vegetable dyes. The color design is regularly woven in some places and others it seems to be a soumak overstiched design, as there are stray threads and knots on the back side. There is a small fray in one corner, as pictured. It could use a cleaning, but does not smell bad. There is surface grim in a few places, but no pet stains or food stains. I don't know the country ir tribe. It came from a wealthy owner. All sales final, no returns.Sales tax is collected in Texas, therefore your final price will include Ebay's calculation of sales tax.
