Description: A truly amazing collection of vintage original French postcards from the early 1900's. Though the condition is described as "used," these were almost all never sent. We do note one that had been sent and postmarked from Saint-Cloud. The postcards do show their age with a bit of yellowing as one can expect with items of this age, but with a few minor exceptions, are undamaged. The album itself is used and well worn on its cover. There are some minor tears on the pages on which the postcards are mounted. There are many scenes of Versailles, but including the gardens and inside views. the collection is a virtual panoramic tour of Paris and of numerous historical French buildings and monuments. It would take years to replicate this collection buying one postcard at a time.
