Description: Offered here for your consideration is a set of eight Georgian double-fiddle thread pattern silver dinner forks. 7 are by William Eley & William Fearn and 1 is by William Eley, William Fearn and William Chauner. They include 2 hallmarked for 1799, 3 for 1798, 2 for 1803 and 1 for 1813. 5 have engraved crests and 1 has a monogram. Two are unengraved and seem to have had monograms removed. The crests are overpolished and some of the hallmarks are somewhat rubbed. Otherwise all are in generally good condition with age appropriate light surface scratches and some visible wear to tines. Length: just over 7.75 inchesWeight: ca. 613 grams or 19+ troy oz.
