We cut our standard indoor lettering from 1/2 inch thick Baltic Birch Plywood which is one of the strongest wood materials available for sign and craft projects. It features a better edge painting surface than standard plywood and gives every wooden letter a nice grain for staining, painting or decoupage PLEASE NOTE**We Do Not use MDF as we don't feel it is safe for children or for us to cut.
