CREAM BAND Item Description You are buying a set of eight (8) authentic, vintage Noritake bread and butter plates dating from circa 1940. These elegant, porcelain bread and butter plates are decorated with Noritake’s “Mystery #1” pattern of plump, pink carnations touched with rose and yellow. Highlights of fern-green and gray foliage accent the blossoms against a wide, creamy yellow band running to a tan verge line. The rims are highlighted in glistening, 22K gold. The bottoms are labeled with a Noritake Japan, "M-in-Wreath" trademark. Each plate measures approximately 6-3/8 inches in diameter. These decades-old plates are in EXCELLENT condition. The colors are rich, and the details are distinct. The gold is glossy, and the finish is lustrous. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, breaks or repairs. See the photos for further clarification.
