Description: Up for bidding is 6+ eggs from a Endangered breed know as a Houdan, Mottled Houdan to be specific. Muffed breed, five twos, excellent layers at 200 white eggs a year average (150-230), excellent with kids they like to be cuddled, endangered breed originating from France. Not a flighty breed, very curious and friendly, have been described as "dorky". More so they have a personality that is not high strung, aggressive, or dominant; they are more aloof and a lot of fun. Very unique and rare breed, black feathering does have a "oil slick" shimmer to it, females head crown is a little more round and softer then males and easily told apart when rearing from chicks. We maintain a very pure blood and genetic line of these birds. Amazing breed for any enthusiast. Incubate as normal poultry egg conditions. Do to the scarcity of the breed as well as incoming winter season we only offer a select amount of eggs at select times.
