Flowers, Scenes, Nice This is a nice group of 6 EASTER postcards showing CROSSES along with RURAL SCENES, FLOWERS and other motifs for the Easter holiday. The postcards are colorful and attractive. The postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. They are EMBOSSED and 5 have GOLD TRIM, and one has both GOLD and SILVER trim on the design. They have interesting themes with good detail, which makes them pleasing to look at. They were published by different publishers. There is one that has blue forget-me-not flowers within the cross. Another shows a cross in the middle made of wood with purple flowers around it. There is a similar one with a wood cross and purple and white flowers, with a gold border around the postcard. The other three postcards have the cross in the middle and nice rural scenes. One shows a woman with a sunrise and home in the distance. Another shows people walking and a church in the background. And the last shows a lake scene with trees, and mountains. These postcards were nicely made, and they were probably all printed in Germany during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). Overall, this is a nice selection of antique Easter postcards. These are collector items because of their age, their interesting themes, and their appeal to Easter collectors. The postcards are both UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (5) with cancel dates of 1911-1912. The postcards would have been published in the 1909-1910 era. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value. Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and their backs.
