A spark arrestor with Â½'' mesh is included with this rain cap to stop burning embers from escaping your chimney. This cap does meet California spark arrestor requirements. 4 removable screws secure the rain caps lid to the base making it simple to remove for cleaning of the spark arrestor and sweeping of the chimney.
