Thanks guys! Prior owner had tiny "chrome army helmet" lookin things on there. Choked the motor so bad. Made it run very rich. Put them on a Chevy 250 in a 63 Wagon on an Offenhauser two carb intake with Rochesters. Couldnt close the hood! :0 Removed the bottom chrome part riser and the elements fit just barely on the black plastic bases and it made it short enough. The threaded rod that came with them was wayyy to short. Had to go get some threaded 1/4 20 rod and make it work. Bought some nicer tri-bar nuts for the top. What are the white plastic rings for??? Wish there were instructions of some sort. Still, great overall. Yes, I recommend this product.
