Description: Up for sale is a set of 5 Antique Floral Porcelain Soup Bowls Made in Limoges, France by Haviland. Circa 1879-1889. The set features a gorgeous pattern of flowers and leaves in stunning dark earthy/autumn colors and gold gilt brim. There are two marks on the base of each bowl. A blue circle mark that reads "HAVILAND & CO / LIMOGES" which was used from 1876-1889, and a green printed mark that reads "H&Co / L" that was used from 1879-1889. One of the bowls has a chip in the rim with a crack stemming from the chip. Another plate has a chip on the underside of the rim. There is minor wear to the decoration and the gold gilt rim on all of the plates. Otherwise they are in good condition and still display nicely. Each bowl measures approximately:1 13/16" Tall to Rim.9 3/8" Rim Diameter.4 1/2" Base.
